Everything You Need to Know to Draw the Lusca

the Lusca

My guess is you’ve seen at least a part of Sharktopus, the unstoppable, military made, hybrid of shark and octopus. Well take out the military made aspect, (and probably the electronic control collar) plop ’em in one of the Bahama’s beautiful blue holes, doing whatever it is Luscas do and that’s pretty much what we’re working with this round.

Real descriptions vary, because anyone who’s every been close enough to a lusca to bring back any detail, gets ate! Sooo here’s what we know from long distance sightings and leftover evidence.

  • Lives in the giant blue holes (purdy, deep ass, underwater, sinkholes) off the coast of the Bahama’s
  • Measures somewhere in between 50 and 200ft long.
  • Has the head of a shark, or a giant eel, or something equally sinister, aquatic and toothy.
  • Has a mass of giant cephalopody tentacles that it uses to smash, rip and tear asunder!
  • Can change color to match its surroundings like an octopus
  • is fiercely territorial
  • Eats the f’ out of peoples!

So that’s it! Maybe you know something about the bahamas, maybe you don’t, so you make yours take a bus tour of Vermont. That’s absolutely fine! Just imagine up yourself something toothy, tentacled and Caribbean, have fun scrawling it on something you can take a picture of, send that sh*t in! Then we’ll enjoy em and throw a shirt at our favorite! So get to it!

Judgement Is Complete

First Place Lusca DrawingSo let’s see here, hammerheads rule, & wonky eyed hammerheads rule even more, weirdly sexualized plant tendrils as tentacles and a scream that puts the scream to shame! F’ing A… this thing just rules! I’ll be in touch about your shirt soon and thanks to all who drew!

Know that judgement is now law and to the victor go the spoils! And don’t forget, you can always send your drawings of a Lusca in late, you won’t win a shirt but I’ll gladly post it for everyone’s enjoyment!
