Monkey’s From Space
So i first remember hearing about this guy on an episode of Destination Truth… or MonsterQuest… one of those shows a guy like me watches religiously… It seems in the early 2000s, the city of New Delhi was plagued with reports of assaults from a small (4 ft) monkey like creature. Reports varied , but one description has the beast covered in dark fur, the face of an ape, wearing a silver helmet, shining red eyes, boasting metallic claws and oddly, three buttons on his chest. The other description sounds a bit like a Monkey Man Mummy, where he still sports the same headgear but is covered from head to toes (assuming he has toes) in bandages or a dark wrap of some sort. Victims claimed to be scratched, hit or otherwise mauled and a few victims even died plummeting from rooftops as they ran in fear of the beast. The reports built and reaction became so fevered that the New Delhi police actually commissioned a sketch of the beast and it can (and should, cause it’s great) be seen on wikipedia here. Our Judge this week (cause it’s mother’s day on Sunday) was my Mom! Elementary and Reading Teacher and encourager of all things creative, and remember her word is law!
