A Drawing Contest of Sorts
Damn I wish I’d have thought of that product correlation, this could have been our first million dollar week! I love the contrast between the angry pencil and the soft edged digital watercolor. Now are the pups eyes red with beastly rage? Or is that just a side effect from huffing that much junk spray?
So I’m going to have to give you a c- for direction following what with the lush furry coat disguising our heros form… but on the other side… few Hanna Barbera characters taught young me more about the raw explosive power of emotion than Captain Caveman so I’m gonna give extra credit for that far reaching, but reasonably accurate correlation!
Ha! I’m not sure if it’s his flowy quality, or if it’s that I’m not sure if those are his spindly legs or a mouthfull of hay, but I kind of love this guy. ( i sorta like the legs option better). And I’m a little frightened and intrigued by what looks to be a secret outhouse hidden in the structure of his head… perhaps a covert message to meet out back of the famed cow demon farms?

It’s funny, from a far, the line quality of this one makes it seem so very dramatic, but once you get the facial expression and subtle colors it’s an entirely different feeling all together, And is she shaking that lil dudes hand? If so I love it!
Ok so never mind the fact that you have somehow revolutionized how nature should shape animals moving forward, but what business do you have being able to draw that fricking cute of a raccoon face! This thing is amazing!
Yes! look at that poor mangled arm? Bear trap? Poachers? Freestyle hopping accident? Points for what seems to be a very squirrely tail and I can’t deny that that face and that wonderful mane are a little alluring!
You know it’s just not a good week without a solid drug reference! My only wish is that the real world wouldn’t have ruined the hooka for me, cause as a kid it was about as powerful a symbol of a den of iniquity that I could imagine… I mean Jabba even kept his munchies in his!…. Now though… I just think of strawberries…
You know I’m not quite sure what it is but this reminds me of a cross betweeen Sam Kinison and Stephen Wright, if you coulda got a little Diceman in there you would have had the ultimate ’80s comedy weapon! Big fan of the cloud of watercolor esque tears btw!
