A Drawing Contest of Sorts
Such a well put together moth/birdman! Though I’m calling those wings are feeling a lil more west coat than coast than midwest working man 😉 And dammit if my brain isn’t stuck hearing him in Jimmy Stewart’s tinny, wavering voice… “This is the voice of Doooooom calling”!
“…he’s a good lake monster! yes he is! yes he IS!” – Yesss! That there is good monster eyeballing! Lil wonky, lil too glossy and eager as hell to do something… errr… good! Plus those clapping kid hands and picturebook straight legs just make me happy!
Haha! Man I’m not sure what it is about this guy that makes me so happy, maybe the face being almost stegasaurus or dodo bird or similarly extinct beast, maybe the shell detritus, I mean is that a cooked turkey about a click back from the anchor? Or maybe its just the overall scribbly nature, making it feel so drawn from life… Nicely played!
Man alive! Someone’s going above and beyond this round! And to illustrate what I like to imagine is about to be the most empty eyed and lopsided game of patty cake the world has ever known! Great creeping fog and torrid waters of death btw!
So even if those were slippery silken boxers, (which they do look like given the drape) I still think it would be more work than its worth to pull my undies with my teeth…
But I have never really bought into that ol’ “better to look good then to feel good” sch-tick and dammit this guy does look like a lizard of means! And seriously, those webbed eyelashes are genius!
