A Drawing Contest of Sorts
Man I should be brushing up on my Moby Dick crew references for this beast! God knows I juts called “Queequeg”, “Quato” a few days ago! And lets just take this as a lesson to those pondering their new fangled ponchos like I always do… the double breasted pea coat is always a solid, warmth providing, good looking option!
No matter how many grooved out eyeballs on your limbs, or how aloof your bug eye shaded, bouncer stare… I’m still just seeing teapot! Great raggedy and patchwork cloakage btw.
See at first I thought it was a take on that classic stock photo of grandma, mother, daughter… but I think those lil babies are just shrimp… side thought, do Lusca’s still let the remoras hang out? This lil dude could obviously pick his own teeth let alone nab a suckerfish off his side.
Oh crazy eyed and crooked crowned, sorta schnauzery looking, monkey king, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways! 1 pointy collared but still pocketed dress shirt. 2 crazy eyes, 3 crooked ears, 4 teeny tiny mouth, 5 the monkey tail for branding reinforcement… soooo good!
Dammit that’s a really, really, good freaking goat! That aside I’m entertained as hell with that Odqan himself, what with his “I’m substitute teaching second grade for the first time ever cardigan” (technically probably a stripped deel but whatever!) and the fact that he’s obviously shouting “Hey you guys”… nicely played!
Take note Great America! I would ride the F out of this if you built it… well grew it technically… but you get the point! Kinda love the moon silhouetting the whole scene and… is that one on the right wearing a police cap?
Yes! our first turkey of 2017 is in and he’s angry, he’s hatted, he’s running like hell and he’s in MFing watercolors! Dammit turkeys make me smile!
Yes the ol’ reverse humpty dumpty maneuver! Sit on the wall and break the hell out of anyone else already there! That is some great intensely bloated belly btw and such great weee lil arms!!!
Not sure if it’s a Starship Troopers thing or just my early love of fisher price construction vehicle packs, but i will always love me a good orange, black and yellow beast, and this one’s got such a good crustacean vibe going that now i sort of want to know if it’s also delicious… PS I will always love when you guys hand draw your boarders!
You know I think our artist captured a very important, lake monster, aspect, a lot of us have been ignoring… freaking really expressive eyebrows! Plus I respect the sheer enormity of it, that gritted toof, awkward, half smile. And points for almost matching our background color with your paper!
Yes! I do believe we are looking at a genuine War Pig!… I personally had always envisioned a different telling of the Sabbath classic… but I mean look at those eyes, the armor plating and the poison mushrooms really help with the “poisoning their brainwashed mi-i-iiinds” bit

Oh look at you and your adorable lil softly painted snaily face! Not sure if its the correlation to children’s books or just the nature of the medium, but I’m pretty sure you could try and murder me with watercolors and I’d still be a fan of how friendly-ly it shaded the whole event!
Yes! starting off with the blue dress/gold dress of turkey drawings! A beautifully colored close up of our protaganist, or is it a fiery hellscape overlooked by and angry cyclopean moon! I mean, I know its the first, but kinda fun that the later works too!
